Here’s what Joe’s first eight months at Carolina Realty Advisors have been like.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joe, one of the newest members of the Carolina Realty Advisors team. Joe’s been with us since the end of 2020, but he already had quite a history in real estate before that.

Joe worked for a construction company for a few years, then transitioned into a role at a brokerage that lasted for around three and a half years. He believed he was happy with his company, but he later realized it was causing him to miss many opportunities. In his own words, he was “working super hard—not necessarily very smart.”

When Joe came to us, he made it clear that he desired transparency from leadership. It’s one of the biggest reasons why he joined the team—he wants everything to be on the table so he knows where he stands and how he can operate in his role.

“Before we help people buy or sell homes, we develop a relationship with them, educate them, and advise them on the best strategies to use.”

Joe’s also done a lot better financially since joining us, and he was already well-compensated in his past role. In half a year of working here, he had already made the same amount he’d make in a year at his old job.

Joe also enjoys the system we utilize at CRA. Before we help people buy or sell homes, we develop a relationship with them, educate them, and advise them on the best strategies to use. It helps us create lifelong clients who keep coming back to us with their real estate needs. It also helps us ensure we’re not wasting anyone’s time.

At his last job, Joe spent almost all of his time showing homes; however, only 10% to 15% ever led to anything worthwhile. Essentially, he was just being used to get people in the door to see a house. With our current system, his conversion rate is closer to around 95%.

I’d like to thank Joe for sharing his thoughts on what it’s been like working with us. If you’re in a position that was similar to Joe’s before he joined us, and you’re starting to feel burned out or overworked, feel free to reach out to me. I’d be happy to walk you through the unique opportunities we’re able to provide our agents. Until then, I look forward to hearing from you soon.
