Here’s how Mackenzie’s experience with the team has been so far.
Today I’m speaking with Mackenzie Pace, one of the newer agents on our team. She used to work in property management in South Carolina but decided it was time to make a change. She sent us her resume on LinkedIn, and now she’s an excellent addition to our team.
You moved from South Carolina to join our team. How do you like Charlotte so far?
I like it a lot! The town I lived in before wasn’t as large, so I’ve been enjoying all the things to do here.
What were some of the challenges you faced transitioning from property management to selling real estate? It’s the same industry, but they’re pretty different roles.
I would say my biggest challenge is going after the sale instead of letting them come to me.
This is a problem a lot of new agents face. You’ve been with us for about seven weeks, and the first month of that was mostly training. What are some of the things you’ve learned to help you be successful?
“The training programs here prepared me to start making money immediately.”
Probably the most important thing I learned was how to effectively communicate with my clients. You need to find out what their motivations are without poking or prodding too much.
Mackenzie has been very effective at putting her training into practice so far. When you add up all the deals she’s worked on or is working on, it’s over $5 million worth of real estate. This is pretty incredible for a new agent, but our training and lead-generation programs help agents get on their feet quickly. How would you sum up your experience to this point?
It’s been great! I love building relationships with my coworkers and clients. If I had any advice for someone considering this career, I highly recommend Carolina Realty Advisors’ training programs. Their hands-on programs prepare you to make money fast.
I’d like to thank Mackenzie once again for speaking with me today. If you have any questions, please call or email me. I am always willing to talk.
